United Against Human Trafficking
We currently partner with United Against Human Trafficking to run the “I AM” Program for survivors of human trafficking. This program is a trauma informed mindfulness and leadership program empowering survivors with tools for self-leadership and new and healthy mind/body connection.
Established in 2005, United Against Human Trafficking (UAHT) is a lead organization of a coalition of Houston-area non-profits, faith-based organizations, government agencies/entities and others whose mission is to end human trafficking.
A 2nd Cup
We Currently Partner with A 2nd Cup coffee shop to offer weekly donation based yoga classes to the community. As a commitment to serve those who serve us, all social workers, doctors, nurses, first responders, etc. receive this class free of charge. Come see us every Thursday at 6:30pm!
A 2nd Cup was established in 2012 to raise awareness of human trafficking issues in Houston—and to develop resources that help create a second chance for survivors.
We also Partner with A 2nd Cup’s Brazen Table Program, where we teach yoga and mindfulness based leadership skills through the “I AM” Program for survivors, to assist survivors as the transition in their new career as culinary graduates from the Brazen Table Vocational program.
